And then I’ll add a little bit of freshly ground black pepper and a little bit of freshly ground sea salt.

Now I take this mixture and just whisk it and pour it over my cucumber and just toss it. I’ll let this sit in the refrigerator for about 1/2 an hour, for the flavors to blend and then I’ll take it out and toss it again. And just want to make sure that I didn’t add - Oh! Perfect. Too much ginger but that’s fabulous. So some really simple, really easy accompaniment for all kinds of Asian food. I’m going to serve mine with Crispy Flavored Duck today and Mandarin Pancakes. Hi, I’m Arena and I love to cook. I’m putting together a super fast easy salad. That’s English cucumber which I have sliced 1″ cucumber into very thin slices.

You can do this either with a knife, paper thin slices or with a Mandalay if you are lucky enough to have one. And you just want to make paper thin slices of your whole English cucumber and you’re going to put this in a serving bowl. Now I’ve made variations to this salad, I’m going to be serving this with Asian meal, so I’m going to do an Asian dressing. So I have a whole English cucumber that I’ve sliced quite thinly.
