Ok hmmm smell good ,too bad you can’t smell it. Ok we are just going to put the chicken in here.
Let it all fall. Ok we are going to put equal part soy sauce and equal part vinegar. So I put uh half a cup in here um maybe it’s a little too much so half cup half a cup equal part. That’s the most important part of this recipe. Just pour the thing here. Sodium, pour the vinegar in here and then I’m going to turn the heat back on. All right so basically you’re just going to let it cook in this mixture. You know I think its still interesting uh how so much vinegar can uh cook raw meat and lemon juice there is uh there’s this dish back in Malaysia called callogram and when I used to live there I loved it uh basically like you cook it with raw fish and onions and things like that and you pour a lot of lemon juice over it and the lemon juice actually cooks the fish so its like seared. Its really good.
Uh another one did you know papaya is a natural meat tenderizer.
Apparently I have never tried it if you uh if you put papaya on top of like raw meat just leave it on there for a while it makes the meat turn into guee. So yeah its very interesting. So now we are going to add the bay leaves. Oh this is too much. Very fine. Put them in there and then you have to put lots of pepper in here pepper is cheap too. Ok. I don’t grind the pepper as I am holding the camera so I just put it in. I’m think that I should have probably let the onions and garlic’s to get brown a little more. Ok I’m going to put this on low heat cause its getting burned. Ok I’m going to put some honey in this cause I feel like it. Prepared honey just a little bit of that. Ok I’m going to put the lid on so it can cook a little longer. That’s it really.
Ok so I just tasted the chicken and it tasted pretty nasty so I added more soy sauce. I’m talking on the phone with Liza right now and here is the Chicken Adobo um I ended up adding some sugar and uh garlic powder a little bit of chicken stock and lots more pepper to make it taste better and now its perfect. So here it is Chicken Adobo and I’m also making beans stir fried beans to put on the side. Ok yaay lunch for tomorrow is ready. Cindy I hope you enjoy it. Bye bye.
