If you’re anything like me and hopefully you’re not, I’m a complete scatterbrain, and I have very good intentions of taking something out of the freezer the night before, ready to be cooked for the next day, and then I completely forget until lunchtime the next day, by which time it’s too late to defrost something, at least without using the microwave. Or so you think. But I’ve discovered this fantastic tip to enable you to defrost something very quickly and without using any heat. Wonderful.
So basically all you need is the subject of your defrosting, in this case raw hamburger for me, or I’ve got, also got some… something precooked, that I just stuck in a Ziploc container, I know it’s a dirty word, and put that in the freezer. So I’m going to show you how to defrost both of those. You just basically need a bowl, or if you’ve got a little side bit to your sink like this that you can block out with a plug, then that’s ideal too. So basically what you do, just stick the bowl into the sink, very complicated, and fill it with room temperature water. I’m going to fill that up.
