Of course you all know what this is - it’s a crock-pot or also called a ’slow cooker’. It’s basically an electric casserole that cooks your food at a low moist heat.
And it’s also designed to cook your food from anywhere between 4 to 12 hours. And when I’m cooking something here, that gives me plenty of time to catch the games on the couch. Hi I’m Jason Hill in just next couple of minutes I’m gonna show you an awesome Chili Verde recipe that’s gonna assured to be a hit in your home. Another great thing about these crock pots is that there is really nothing to them. You have got a lid and you’ve got an insert.
The insert sits in the -uh- the electric element which heats up your - your bowl which in turn evenly cooks your food. Clean up is a breeze. And you can walk away from this and let it cook all day long. And it wont heat up your kitchen while you are away either. Ok the only real cooking you have to do for this recipe is to sauté the onion, cilantro and garlic before you add it to your crock pot.
