Today we are going to be doing some Chinese food from one of the fantastic e-books over in my cookbook section. If you click up over there, over there you can see it. Click on it, you can see it under Chinese cooking. Today we are going to be making Chinese pepper steak. And we have marinated some beef. Fine steak, which is nice and an expensive cut of beef. And the portion to take is about. We’ll take the oil first, cooking oil in a hot wok about 2 tblspns. We’ll swirl it around nice. Ok watch it, be careful it’s hot. Now I’ll throw in some scallions and some ginger and garlic. Ok now stir it for around 30 seconds. You don’t want to burn the garlic or the ginger.
Then you want to take about half of the beef basically separate it from the marinade add that there. This is best part of the flank steak it comes in slices. Mix it. Stir it for around 2mins. True its getting hot. Over here on the side, I have some rice which I like to use because it’s nice and quick. You don’t have a lot of time, you boil the water you drop it in and in 10mins and you get some nice fresh rice to serve with your dish. Ok now mix this well and cook for a little more time. Now take this out and put it aside and cook the rest of the beef.Ok, you take that out. Now take the rest of the beef out and put it in there. Save this marinade, you can use this for later.
