I’m using a gas oven so its going to get a little bit hotter than electric ovens. So in electric ovens you may want to do 350.
And we’re going to let these guys go for about 45 minutes. We’re going to stick a toothpick in the middle and when the toothpick comes out clean we’re ready to go and put these on a cooling rack and get ready to eat em. All right so we’re all done on the fruited pound cake and we’re going to go ahead and pull these guys out of the oven. Again it was about 45 to 50 minute cooking process. I’m using a gas oven so aa.. I cooked at about 325 degrees. And here’s the finished product. They split nice and pretty on the top for us. And all we’re going to do now is just let these cool. Cool enough so that they can be taken out of the pan and from that point we will put them on a cooling rack. And we’ll be ready for some nouveaux fruit cake.
