Welcome to Greatcookingvideos.com. Today we are going to prepare sweet and delicious Carrot Cake. You might have not heard this type of cake before. But trust me, it too good to taste. Along with the recipe I have also posted a video that will guide you throughout the entire recipe. As it is a cake recipe, you will require a good oven and some carrots, since we are going to mix carrots in the cake. So lets watch the video, and lets prepare one of my delicious carrot cake. And am I sure, its going to be favorite of your as well. So, first here is the video and below is the detail recipe.

Alright, welcome to how to cook a carrot cake recipe with chef Jason. This recipe has been to my family for over a hundred years, it was given to us from my great grand mother. And either if you don’t like carrot cake, I guarantee you will like this one. Here is the quick overview of the ingredients. There is lot of them and they becoming quick so you gonna to write them down. You need 2 cups of flour. 2 cups of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of salt, a tea spoon of baking powder. 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 4 eggs, vanilla extract. One and half cup of vegetable oil. 1 bag of whole carrots. One cup pecan pieces, 16 oz box of powder sugar, 8 oz package of Philadelphia cream cheese, one stick of butter, and three rounds of baking tins, you need to get the cake variety not the pie tin.

For the first step, we gonna preheat our over to 350 and we gonna grease our pans. You can use, butter, I am using, vegetable oil. You just need to get to along all of the bottom of the pan, and sides so that the mixture wont stick. Its very sticky, very easily stick. Then you add a little bit of four, just make sure you could make it all of the sides and the bottom. And then you want to shred carrot by your hand, you don’t wanna buy the bag variety, because it will not turn right, so you wanna shred three cups of carrots. Do not buy the bag variety, do it by hand. Now we gonna mix our dry ingredients, our 2 ups of flour, our 2 cups of sugar, our 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, our half a teaspoon of salt, our tablespoon of baking powder and our 2 teaspoons of baking soda, and we are going to mix these ingredients thoroughly. Just make sure that the cinnamon is mixed up thoroughly, and is evenly distributed, you will be able to see. And after its done it should look something like that.

Then we will add our teaspoon of vanilla extract and our 4 eggs. And then we want to mix this thoroughly, this mixture thoroughly, this is going to take some minutes. May its not look like that there is nothing moisture in there, but just keep mixing and keep mixing and keep mixing. And eventually, you will get to this consistency. Now this is still not even ready, or we looking for is this right here. and when you got that, you can add the carrots. 3 cups of shredded carrots, and then one and half cup of vegetable oil. You are going to need taste this to that the carrots and the oil are evenly distributed. You will be able to see whenever you will get to this consistency right here they are evenly distributed, then you are ready to put the cake mixture, in your pans.

Just try to get the even amount in all three pans. Once a little bit bigger than the other, doesn’t matter. But try to make them as even as possible. And try not to spill it on the counter, as I did. Now we are ready to put our cake mixture, in our preheated oven, 350 degrees. And when we get all three, cakes in there we are going to set our timer for thirty minutes.
