So this is really a fantastic time saver as well as a money saver.
So basically what I’m gonna do is just gonna stick my meat, without touching it, just avoid touching it – into the pan. I’m going to add my garlic for a little bit of flavor and then I’m gonna add my water.Ok, so I’m just gonna add enough water to cover the meat twice. You don’t wanna add too much otherwise you will water down all the lovely juices in it. I’ve added that in there. I have my fork handy. I’m gonna just poke this down, hopefully the meat will oblige so it sits nicely in the pan. Add a little bit of more water here, just a touch, I don’t want all the juices evaporating.
So basically that’s it. It may not look horrendously appetizing, you’ve got a very very thin soup here with huge lumpy bits of meat in it. But trust me in the morning when you come back to that – you want to cook it overnight on a low setting in the slow cooker. Cook it for overnight. And when you come back to it in the morning, the smell if you can resist it all night, will be fabulous and the meat will be so tender, you will be wanting to eat this stuff all day. It’s absolutely delicious. So there you go, there’s a fantastic time saver and money saver for all you protein types.
