I’m a protein type and in an ideal world I would be having stake and eggs and fried mushrooms and all kinds of, ok, maybe not fried, you know what I mean, sautéed mushrooms.
That sounds more politically correct. I’d be having those things for breakfast. But we don’t live in an ideal world and frankly most of the time I just don’t have time to cook up a storm for breakfast. So, Dr. Mercola has come up with a very good alternative, the way healthier protein shakes and I have these every morning for breakfast. They’re fantastic. My husband has them as well. Now I’m a protein type and he is a mixed type.
So we both have to have our shakes made slightly differently and this morning I’m going to show you how to make the best protein shake possible. And the reason I am showing you this. I was actually shocked to discover that one of my friends had actually been following the instructions on the back of the protein shake mix. They’ve just been having the protein shake with a little bit of water and stirring it up. Yuck. Needless to say the thought of that just made me go rather ill.
