Now that we’re getting into summer, one of my favourite drinks, and a lot of people’s favourite drinks is Iced tea.
But a lot of the iced teas that you buy from the supermarket have got all kinds of nasty additives in them sugar for one, high fructose concern, things that we don’t want in our drinks. So I’m going to show you how to make a very easy iced tea from scratch. So I’ve got my jug here, and my nice glass jug and I’ve actually added in here, I’ve got, and this is from lots of experiment from lots of different kinds of tea. I’m English, so I have lots of different kinds of tea.
I’ve got two L grade teabags. If you got access to decaffeinated tea that would be even better, and I’ve also got two bags of ginger peppermint herbal tea. I found that the flavour combination works really well, but if you haven’t got ginger peppermint, then peppermint tea would do, just as well. So I’ve got those there. I’m going to grab my kettle of just boiled water. This is very simple, I’m just going to pour the water on top.
